How To Get The Most Out Of Your Reusable False Lashes
How to take care and maintain your false lashes
New to falsies? Follow these tips to ensure you make the most out of your false eyelashes!
1. Handle and apply gentlyWhether you wear mink lashes, synthetic, or other fake eyelashes, it's important to take care of them gently and carefully. When removing a brand new pair from the tray, handle them by the band and never tug on the individual strands to avoid any damage to them.
2. Don't apply mascara or product on the false lashesWith our Mink and Unisyn lashes, they can be reused over and over again. To maximize their longevity, you'll want to avoid putting any mascara or other products on them, so that they don't clump up or ruin its natural curl and wispy hairs.
3. Remove gently to reuse them laterMake sure you remove the glue completely from the lash band after each use. Using a tweezer will help with the glue removal process. We find that glue tends to be difficult to remove over time if it is not removed immediately.
For a more detailed guide, see our tutorial, "How to Properly Remove False Eyelashes".
4. How to take care and clean false lashesThis is a step a lot of people forget, but learning how to clean mink lashes is our biggest tip when answering the question, 'can you reuse fake lashes?'. Make sure you remove the lash glue completely from the lash band after each wear. You can do this by using a q-tip/cotton swab with oil free makeup remover and rubbing the glue off along the lash band. Glue tends to get very difficult to remove over time if not removed immediately!
5. Storing and protect your false eyelashesKeep your lashes in their best shape by keeping them in their original casing after use (good thing our boxes are super luxe)! This will prevent any dust, dirt or debris from collecting on your lashes so you can keep reusing them over and over again.
That's it!
That’s it! If you make sure to follow these steps every time you’re rocking your Esqido mink lashes or any type of false lashes, you should be able to get a good amount of wears out of them!
